In 2014, DirectEmployers Executive Director Candee Chambers put the phrase and concept “Compliance to Recruitment” (CTR) on the map as more federal government contractor compliance teams began to involve their recruitment counterparts in more OFCCP-related compliance tasks. As a result, in 2015, compliance managers brought their recruitment teams to the table to join the conversation! Recruitment teams began to realize the impact their processes have on compliance efforts and quickly came to grips with the careful balance that each play from handling disposition codes to paperwork and more! In January of 2019, Team DE broke the mold further by filming a content series for Dublin-based SocialTalent and featured all of the compliance obligations which compliance managers are designating as recruitment tasks. DirectEmployers has since cataloged the major functions and activities the compliance team has delegated to recruiters to assist with compliance efforts. Dubbed the “Eight Things List”, host Candee Chambers and resident employment law expert, John C. Fox will discuss in length these eight activities as the task of training recruitment teams continues to increase with intensity. Join this 1-hour, interactive webinar as this dynamic duo answers questions on-the-fly just as they would have in the ballroom of DEAMcon20! Both experts will discuss each of the “eight things” combining their HR and legal expertise to holistically illuminate all sides, and provide practical suggestions on how to understand each task as only these two can.

As you can imagine, witty banter and Google-like guidance will ensue in the process! Be there, or be left wondering if your team has truly nailed the “eight things”!
