The South Central Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists will hold its Fall 2018 meeting (“Meeting”) on October 10th-12th.
The Meeting will be held in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
The Society of Wetland Scientists is an organization that describes its mission as the promotion of “understanding, conservation, protection, and science-based management and sustainability of wetlands.” The organization states it has over 3,000 members in more than 60 countries from governmental organizations, academia, and private consulting.
The meeting includes a training outline which is described as the Development of a Wetland Management Plan. Modules to be addressed include:

A field trip to White Oak Bayou is scheduled.
