Over the years, attorneys general have worked together on many settlements related bank mortgages, opioids, antitrust, and tobacco.
As NAAG president, Attorney General Miller’s key area of focus is consumer protection, which includes the use of social media to educate consumers on preventing consumer fraud, how to utilize technology as a tool to prevent telemarketing fraud, issues related to the use of algorithms and dark patterns, and others.
