The Beaver Watershed Alliance (“BWA”) announced in a June 1st news release that its Board of Directors selected Clell Ford as the organization’s new Executive Director.
Mr. Ford’s duties are stated to include:
. . . overseeing the activities of BWA, managing grants for watershed protection and education, as well as identifying new opportunities for support of BWA’s mission to maintain high quality drinking water in Beaver Lake and improve water quality in the Beaver Lake Watershed.
Mr. Ford’s prior experience is stated to have included:

10 years conducting water quality and sediment investigations on the Clinch River for the Environmental Sciences Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory

21 years as the Lakes Manager for the Highlands County Board of County Commissioners in Highlands County, Florida
Mr. Ford’s educational background includes a B.A. in Biology from Hendrix College and a M.S. in Ecology from the University of Tennessee. He is a Fayetteville, Arkansas native.
