New Draft ETS Revisions Expected Friday

In light of recent guidance changes from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the California Department of Public Health, the California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board voted Wednesday evening to withdraw its June 3 revisions to the COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standards.

Alternative ETS revisions incorporating the new guidance are expected to be issued by Friday and the Board plans to consider them at its June 17 meeting. In the meantime, the original ETS issued in November 2020 remain in force.
