Canada Joined Hague Agreement on 7/16/18

Canada has joined the Hague system by depositing the instrument of ratification of the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement on July 16th, 2018. This agreement provides the means of protection for Canadian industrial designs within the Hague System with one set of fees and one application.

Canada has added language to the instrument stating the agreement will enter into force on November 5th, 2018 rather than the typical three month period.
