Last Friday, the West Virginia House of Delegates voted 86-11 to allow breweries to give out samples at their breweries. The bill also allows breweries, brewpubs, and other retailers to sell up to 4 growlers of beer a day. The West Virginia Senate already approved a similar measure.

This legislation comes only a few months after Governor Earl Ray Tomblin called for fundamental changes to help craft brewers in West Virginia. This reform will certainly be a much needed boost to the craft beer industry in West Virginia.
