Prospective developers should review the plan, which was outlined at a city event May 6

The City of Bellevue has released a long-awaited draft of its Comprehensive Plan that will impact development opportunities in the city for the coming decades. Members of the public have additional opportunities to comment on this draft, though any changes would generally require a recommendation from the City Planning Commission in its review of the draft.

The city hosted an informational session Monday, May 6, to outline the process moving forward. While the Comprehensive Plan will not directly regulate development projects, it will guide future actions by the City Council to further amend its development regulations, so anyone who owns or plans to develop property in Bellevue in the coming years should be familiar with this plan.
