Summary

Organisations that qualify for Phase 2 of the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (“ESOS”) have until 5 December 2019 to complete ESOS assessments, have them signed off by a director and lead assessor and notify the regulator.

ESOS Phase 2 has been on the horizon for some time now.  Please see our earlier blog on what this is and what organisations need to do to comply.

The key notification deadline of 5 December 2019 is almost upon us.  The regulator may issue civil sanctions including financial penalties if an organisation does not meet the scheme’s obligations.
