Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and related agencies (HHS/HUD/DOJ) issued some non-binding guidance, in the form of a series of FAQs, regarding the CDC Order temporarily halting certain residential nonpayment evictions.
It is important to remember that this is non-binding guidance and that the Iowa Supreme Court’s Implementation Order is still in effect and must be followed by Iowa landlords.
