One of the colleagues Mary has admired the most in being successful in this respect is Karina Vollmer. The two worked together at Tata Communications in Singapore and took a walk down memory lane to share some thoughts from the past that allow introverts like Mary to learn from extroverts like Karina.
Karina is originally from Indonesia and takes the opportunity to share with the GWIC audience some of the unique cultural aspects of the country that may impact the role of global compliance officers in multinational corporations.
