Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation and 19 of its affiliates, which operate an independent oil and gas business, have commenced cases under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code by filing petitions with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.  Judge Gross will preside over the cases.  The debtors have issued a press release describing their restructuring efforts.  Additional documents are available from Prime Clerk LLC.
