The National Nanotechnology Coordination Office (NNCO) is organizing a series of National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) webinars on nanometrology, metrological challenges, and recent advances in three topical areas: food, agriculture, and environment; nanoscale medical and pharmaceutical products; and nanoparticles in electronics. Registration is open for the fourth webinar in the series, Metrology of Nanoparticles in Electronics, which will be held April 5, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. (EDT). The webinar will cover recent advances and current challenges in the synthesis, characterization, and application of nanoparticles in electronics. The following topics will be discussed:

  • Single Nanoparticle Printing for Active Devices;
  • Quantum Optoelectronics in Two-Dimensional (2D) Materials; and
  • High-Throughput Synthesis and Characterization of Colloidal Inorganic Nanoparticles.

The speakers will be Nicholas J. Borys, Montana State University; Emory Chan, Molecular Foundry, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory; and Farnaz Niroui, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
