During the Ohio Ethics Commission's first meeting of 2024, the Commission reviewed staff reports on its activity in 2023. Ohio Ethics Commission staff issued 163 written opinions to provide guidance on complying with Ohio Ethics Law. 75 percent of these written opinions went to local officials and employees from counties, cities, villages, and townships around Ohio. Additionally, Ohio Ethics Commission staff conducted 168 investigations, including 29 that were resolved by settlement agreements to stop improper conduct.  For more information on the Ohio Ethics Commission's activity in 2023, please refer to their February 1 news release.
