Idemitsu Renewables completes 73 MW California solar project

The Luciana solar project, a 73 MW solar project in Tulare County, has achieved commercial operation and is expected to generate clean and affordable power equivalent to the needs of over 20,000 California homes. The power generated by the project will be sold through a 15-year power purchase agreement with East Bay Clean Energy, which serves Alameda County and neighboring cities.
Fully merchant battery storage project in California raises $78M debt financing

Siemens’ international financing arm, U.S. development bank NADBank, and energy storage developer EnerSmart Storage have signed a $78.2 million loan facility to finance a fully merchant battery storage project in California totaling 165 MW. The debt facility will finance the design, construction, and operation of a portfolio of utility-scale energy storage projects totaling 165 MW/330 MWh at nine sites in San Diego County.
Utility gets nod to build 416-mile power line across U.S. West

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) last Thursday said it has given final permission for a 416-mile transmission line that would connect wind farms in eastern Wyoming with customers in Utah and elsewhere across the West. BLM said it has notified Portland-based PacifiCorp it can proceed with its Energy Gateway South Transmission line.
Companies partner to add geothermal power to California community's power supply

East Bay Clean Energy (EBCE) has partnered with Fervo Energy to become the latest community choice aggregator (CCA) to add a mandated non-weather-reliant power source. Developed by Fervo Energy, this facility marks EBCE's first geothermal power purchase agreement, broadening the agency's clean energy portfolio.
