Should I go to France to file a case with INTERPOL?

No, you shouldn't. The division of INTERPOL that accepts complaints is called the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL's Files, and it accepts applications only by postal mail or by email. In person applications are not accepted and in person meetings are not held for individual cases. So if you do that, you're going to be wasting your time and your money.
