The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) is the nation’s largest metropolitan planning organization, representing six counties, 190 cities and more than 19 million residents. SCAG undertakes a variety of planning and policy initiatives to encourage a more sustainable Southern California, and is currently soliciting proposals for its “Development of Land Use Scenarios for Sustainable Communities Strategy” (Project). The Project goal is to illustrate the impacts of land use policies through alternative scenarios for achieving the region’s GHG emissions-reduction targets under SB 375. The awarded party under SCAG’s Request for Proposals shall create presentations and a framework for effective communication of the Sustainable Communities Strategy scenarios and related data.
