Katten partner Michael Callahan recently presented a webinar, “The Changing PSO Landscape: National & Legal Perspectives.” The session covered in-depth the legal aspects, interpretations and status of court cases that have challenged the legal protections available through the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005 (PSQIA) to patient safety organizations (PSO), as well as the following topics:

- lessons learned from Tibbs, et al. v. Bunnell, which currently is before the Kentucky Supreme Court, and other appellate cases; and

- strategies on how to achieve the most benefit from the PSQIA protections and PSO participation, among others.
