HEADLINES
- President Joe Biden will travel to France to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings at Normandy during World War II, with many lawmakers also making the trip.
- Dr. Anthony Fauci will make his first appearance since his retirement at a hearing on Capitol Hill.
- Cabinet officials testifying in Congress include Attorney General Merrick Garland and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.
HOUSE
- The House will be in session tonight through Wednesday, beginning consideration of appropriations legislation for fiscal year 2025 with the bill to fund military construction and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Fauci is testifying for the first time since his retirement from government service, this morning before the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
- Tomorrow, the Judiciary Committee will hold an oversight hearing with Garland.

SENATE
- The Senate is also scheduled to be in session through Wednesday, focusing on legislation regarding contraception access.
- Yellen will testify on her department’s budget tomorrow at the Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government.
- The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will hold a hearing Wednesday on the federal cybersecurity regulatory process.

WHITE HOUSE
- Biden this evening will attend a campaign fundraiser in Greenwich, Connecticut.
- The president will spend the rest of the week in France, commemorating D-Day Thursday and Friday in Normandy.
- Saturday, French President Emmanuel Macron will host Biden for a state visit.
