On March 6, 2020, the United States Trade Representative (“USTR”) issued product exclusions pertaining to the 7.5% Section 301 List 4A Tariffs. According to the USTR, the product exclusions apply retroactively to entries going back to September 1, 2019 and remain in effect until September 1, 2020. The products affected include medical supplies, likely in response to the supply shortages and surge in demand associated with the coronavirus epidemic.
