Adam Darley

Adam Darley is the Manager of Discovery Services atiDiscoverySolutions (iDS). With over a decade of technology and litigation support experience, Adam has extensive background assisting clients and leading projects involving electronic discovery. He has performed complex data analysis, implemented efficient workflows on best practices for data processing, productions, and advanced analytics on many large-scale matters. He currently is a Certified E-Discovery Specialist, Relativity Certified Administrator, and aBrainspaceCertified Analyst.

 

Rebecca Lorance
Senior Litigation Director

Rebecca Lorance is currently Senior Litigation Director for Corning Inc., leading its electronic discovery, privacy and cybersecurity legal practice. Rebecca joined Corning in 2018 to help build the electronic discovery, privacy and cybersecurity legal practices while also advising on litigation strategy, motion practice, and general litigation discovery. Rebecca also regularly advises on legal hold, investigations, subpoena response, record retention, privacy, cybersecurity and civil litigation.Prior to joining Corning, Rebecca held several significant in-house litigation roles for a variety of Fortune 50 companies. Rebecca has over 20 years of litigation experience in the areas of intellectual property, commercial, mass tort, government investigations, professional malpractice defense, employment litigation, and electronic discovery.

 

Matt McCartney

Matt is a Senior Manager in the Forensic Technology and Discovery Services (FTDS) practice. He has over 14 years of experience in computer forensics, electronic discovery, data analytics and pro-active anti-fraud analysis. Matt has provided technical and strategic guidance to clients from a variety of diverse industry sectors including Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Automotive and Financial Services. He has an array of different experiences on issues including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, intellectual property, marketing practices, employee misconduct and pricing disputes

Matt was a contributing researcher to three articles published in FRAUD magazine regarding the fraud triangle, detecting fraud through email and the future of fraud in a block chain world. He has led the development of thought leadership on large scale eDiscovery, the Global Data Privacy Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act, social media in eDiscovery and investigations, legal technology and innovation, and blockchain considerations in investigations through speaking events and white paper.

He is experienced in electronic discovery case management and ESI identification and has assisted in the development and implementation of evidence management methodologies. Matt leads EY’s Data Collection Center of Excellence, which is a group of professionals dedicated to building leading practices for collecting existing as well as new and emerging data sources.

Hon. Xavier Rodriguez

Xavier Rodriguez is a former Texas Supreme Court Justice and currently sits on the bench as a United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas. Born in San Antonio, Texas, he received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, a master’s degree from the University of Texas LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Texas Law School. Prior to assuming the bench, he was a partner in the international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski (now known as Norton Rose Fulbright). Judge Rodriguez is a frequent speaker on continuing legal education seminars and has authored numerous articles regarding employment law, discovery and arbitration issues. He is the editor of Essentials of E-Discovery (TexasBarBooks 2014). He is a member of The Sedona Conference Judicial Advisory Board, the Georgetown Advanced E-Discovery Institute Advisory Board, and serves as the Distinguished Visiting Jurist-in-Residence and adjunct professor of law at the St. Mary’s University School of Law. He was elected to membership in the American Law Institute and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the Texas Bar Foundation. In 2011 he was awarded the Rosewood Gavel Award for outstanding judicial service from the St. Mary's University School of Law. In 2017, he received the State Bar of Texas Gene Cavin Award for Excellence in CLE, recognizing his long-term contributions to continuing legal education. He is Chair of the State Bar of Texas Continuing Legal Education Committee and Chair-Elect of the State Bar of Texas Litigation Section. He is currently enrolled in the Duke University, Bolch Judicial Institute’s LLM Program in Judicial Studies.

Jennifer Williams

Jennifer Williams is the Director of Practice Support and Office Services for Vinson & Elkins LLP. Jennifer joined V&E in March 1999, originally as a member of the IT training and technical support team in Austin. She has been a part of the litigation and practice support group since 2004, becoming the firm-wide director of the Practice Support Group in 2007 and firm-wide director of Office Services in 2008. She directs all aspects of litigation support technology and electronic discovery for V&E, in addition to providing oversight for reprographics and mail functions in the V&E Office Services department firm-wide. In her role as Director of Practice Support, she works extensively with legal teams and clients, providing consulting and education on all facets of information governance, records retention, and electronic discovery. Jennifer has been a Certified E-Discovery Specialist through the ACEDS organization since 2015, and is currently serving the ACEDS Central Texas Chapter as a Director at Large.

Jennifer and her husband Trey have two sons and one diva dog (Princess Lilo). The Williams family travels as much as schedules allow, and they especially love going to DisneyWorld.
