Lilith Bat-Leah, CEDS, Senior Director of Data Science, FRONTEO
Lilith Bat-Leah, CEDS, is a senior director of data science at FRONTEO, a publicly traded global technology and services company specializing in artificial intelligence, cross-border litigation, managed review, and consulting for the eDiscovery market. She has extensive experience managing, delivering and consulting on electronic discovery, including meet and confer, identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis, and production of electronically stored information. She regularly participates in negotiations around electronic discovery and has provided expert testimony in both domestic and international court proceedings. Ms. Bat-Leah now specializes in the application of statistics, analytics, machine learning and data science within the context of electronic discovery. She writes and speaks on varied topics, including ESI protocols, statistical sampling, and technology assisted review. Ms. Bat-Leah currently serves on the EDRM Advisory Council and the ACEDS New York Chapter board. She is a member of Sedona Conference Working Groups 1 and 6, and was a founding board member of the ACEDS Chicago Chapter. Lilith graduated from Northwestern University magna cum laude and has been CEDS certified since 2015.
Jeremiah Weasenforth, Managing Project Attorney, Orrick
Jeremiah Weasenforth is the Managing Project Attorney in the Orrick Analytics group. Jeremiah manages a team of attorneys and technical non-attorneys that utilize technology and project management discipline to assist with litigation and transactional tasks. Jeremiah’s focus is bringing efficiency to all aspects of such tasks through the use of technology and sound process.
Jeremiah develops and implements workflows around the use of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and machine learning by assessing case goals and strategy. This includes implementing a broad array of tools designed to achieve cost savings for clients, including predictive analytics, structured analytics, sentiment analysis, and concept analysis technology. Jeremiah has significant experience managing discovery tasks from early case assessment through trial. Jeremiah regularly consults with Orrick attorneys and clients on complex data issues in discovery.
Jeremiah writes and frequently speaks on the use of advanced analytics, including the challenges associated with unique aspects of litigation.
Lindsey Worth, Manager of TAR & Analytics, Americas, Hogan Lovells
Lindsey Worth is the Manager of TAR & Analytics, Americas, for Hogan Lovells. She manages Hogan’s eDiscovery project managers and consultants in the Americas and advises clients on advanced technology and workflow design. Lindsey is a former litigator experienced in leading discovery teams in complex, document-intensive matters. Since turning to eDiscovery consulting, she specializes in advising clients on how to leverage machine learning and analytics. She has defended her clients’ TAR and discovery workflows in deposition, via affidavit, and in mediation before the court.
Lindsey is a former Rhodes Scholar with degrees from Harvard, Oxford, and Yale Law School and is admitted to the bar in California. She also serves as a board member for the NYC chapter of Leading Women in Technology.
Justin Turnofsky, Manager of E-Discovery Review Technology, Paul, Weiss
Justin is Paul, Weiss’ Manager of E-Discovery Review Technology and a founding member of their E-Discovery Analytics and Review Technology team. In his role, Justin counsels legal teams and corporate clients on the most proficient and defensible uses of advanced technologies and analytics to improve efficiency and identify critical documents earlier in the process. As a Relativity and Brainspace Certified Master, Justin develops and presents CLE trainings and certification programs for the firm’s personnel.
