More and more organizations are turning to the cloud because of how flexible and low-cost it is. As a result, many health care organizations are now using cloud-based servers to store patient information and are discovering new privacy and security concerns raised by using the cloud. All of these concerns and threats should be considered before moving to the cloud and evaluated for those already using the cloud.

In this webinar, Jim Wieland of Ober|Kaler’s Health Care Information Privacy, Security and Technology Practice and David Holtzman of CynergisTek described some of the top security and privacy concerns attributed to using a third party vendor, as well as the risks posed by the end-user. David and Jim also provided insight on how to best reduce security risks and address privacy concerns.
