This program is part two of Manatt’s New Federal Rules on Medicaid Access and Managed Care webinar series.

After releasing sweeping proposed rules on Medicaid access and managed care in spring 2023, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is expected to release final rule changes in April 2024. With these rules, CMS aims to increase transparency for Medicaid program data, enhance opportunities for beneficiary voice, and strengthen federal and state oversight of care access and quality. The proposed rules address both the fee-for-service (FFS) and managed care delivery systems, and also include targeted provisions on home and community-based services (HCBS).

Key topics for part two of this program include:

  • The new landscape for state directed payments and managed care quality
  • Regulatory updates for “in lieu of” services
  • Medical loss ratios

Even if you can’t make our live sessions, register and you’ll receive on-demand links to view at your convenience.
