The presentation will delve into the impact of Generative AI on cross-border e-discovery, with an emphasis on its multi-lingual capabilities and limitations. We'll start by comparing the multi-lingual problem-solving strategies in e-discovery before and after the introduction of generative models. A key focus will be on the variation in multi-lingual handling by different generative models. We'll discuss both the successes and challenges faced by generative AI in multi-lingual document review - the goal is to provide the audience with clear criteria for evaluating generative AI tools, emphasizing the importance of informed inquiries to service providers. This approach aims to help the audience understand the relevance and potential effectiveness of various generative AI models in multi-lingual document review scenarios, leading to a more informed application in e-discovery processes.
