Miles Hutton is a Senior Consultant in DecisionQuest’s Boston office. Dr. Hutton works with high-profile clients on case evaluation, witness preparation, strategy development, venue studies and juror profiling. Over the last twenty years, he has consulted a variety of cases throughout the country including insurance, contract, patent, securities, pharmaceutical liability, white-collar crime, antitrust, asbestos, and toxic tort matters.
Prior to joining DecisionQuest, Dr. Hutton worked as a research psychologist and a marketing consultant. Several of his academic articles have appeared in such publications as Journal of Immigrant and Refugee Services, Psychiatric Services, and Psychological Services. Additionally, Dr. Hutton taught research methodology and statistics to undergraduates at the City University of New York, York College and to graduate students at Columbia. As a marketing consultant at Arcature, Dr. Hutton worked with Fortune 500 companies to empirically evaluate and enhance the companies’ brand value.

Dr. Stuart Miles

Stuart Miles spent the last twenty-five years consulting on over six hundred cases in 24 states as a social scientist. With his specialized knowledge in personality and social psychology, he consults with trial teams on social, cognitive and technical issues related to trial preparation and case strategy. He has been actively involved in conducting jury deliberation groups, trial simulations, jury selection, witness preparation and post-trial interviews for clients as well as assisting clients before trial and appearing in court to assist with computer-based multimedia presentations.
Dr. Miles conducts both qualitative and quantitative research for clients. He has consulted on cases involving everything from capital murder to products liability including but not limited to perjury, bad faith, medical malpractice, aviation, fraud, pharmaceutical, patent, employment, toxic tort, class actions and wrongful termination.
