Korean lenders have made a significant number of commercial real estate loans in the United States, many of which are now in default. Jin Kim of BridgeRock Capital and Brian Donnelly of McDermott Will & Emery will provide guidance on how to negotiate with Korean lenders in workout situations brought on by COVID-19 to get the best results. This webinar will cover:

  • Understanding the K-Trust structure and the different parties participating in a loan on the lender side.
  • Understanding the bureaucracy of Korean lenders and how that impacts the “who” and the “how” when negotiating your restructuring.
  • An overview of the key concerns for Korean lenders and how a sponsor can effectively address them for a successful restructuring.

We will also conduct a Q&A session with the speakers at the end of the webinar. Please submit your questions in advance during registration.
