Governor Brown promises renewable energy growth in California Solar Home and Business Journal - Jan 3
In a recent speech, California governor Jerry Brown reiterated his campaign promise to push the state towards its goal of boosting its renewable energy generation capacity to 200GW by 2020. Brown's goals are on track with the renewable energy initiatives begun by the outgoing Schwarzenegger administration, which approved over 4,000MW worth of solar projects in 2010 alone.
