Phil Shawe co-founded TransPerfect in 1991, while attending New York University’s Stern School of Business The company was founded with a mission to help the world's businesses navigate the global marketplace by providing the highest quality language services through a client-focused business model—something the industry lacked at the time. With no external financing, TransPerfect grew from its dorm-room beginnings into the world’s largest privately held provider of global communications solutions. Today, TransPerfect is a global family of companies and the world’s largest provider of language and technology solutions for global business.
