Solyndra creates light-weight cylindrical solar panels in California. In August, Solyndra suspended operations and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. In September, the FBI raided Solyndra and Congress started hearings. $535M in USDOE loan guarantees and $1B in private investments are at risk.
