Imaging Supplies Coalition submits this brief in support of Lexmark International, Inc. to urge the Court to uphold the rulings of the en banc Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit regarding important issues related to patent exhaustion. The Federal Circuit’s opinion below strikes the proper balance between protecting the rights of patentees and limiting those rights through the exhaustion doctrine.
