  • A bipartisan coalition of 16 AGs and the DOJ filed a lawsuit against Apple, Inc. for alleged monopolization of the smartphone market in violation of the Sherman Act and certain states’ antitrust laws.
  • The complaint alleges that Apple illegally maintains a monopoly over smartphones by selectively imposing contractual restrictions on, and withholding critical access points from, developers.
