The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) requires all covered employers (generally, those with fewer than 500 employees, with the exception of certain healthcare providers and emergency responders who have opted out) to conspicuously post a notice on their premises of employees’ rights under the FFCRA. For remote workers, this notice should be transmitted via normal means of communication, e.g., email or intranet.
Today, the United States Department of Labor issued a model notice for covered employers to use. It is attached for your reference. Covered employers should meet the notice requirement immediately.
