Government Publications on Retirement

The website publications.USA.gov has many helpful publications, including some that offer practical advice about retirement. That website is now offering a series of pamphlets called Trustworthy Retirement Resources for Seniors. If you go to that website, www.publications.usa.gov, and navigate to that title, you can have the pamphlets sent to you, or view them on-line. Speaking of websites, although no one, apparently, can understand Social Security and Medicare, the official websites for those programs, www.ssa.gov and www.medicare.gov, make a good try at explaining them. My experience is that you have to read these explanations several times to grasp them.
