What Caused the National Amusements Data Breach?

According to these sources, on December 15, 2023, National Amusements detected unusual activity within its computer network. In response, National Amusements secured its network and then launched an investigation with the help of cybersecurity experts.

Through this investigation, National Amusements confirmed that an unauthorized actor accessed its network between December 13, 2023 and December 15, 2023. It was also determined that the unauthorized actor may have viewed or stolen files containing confidential consumer information.

After learning that sensitive consumer data was accessible to an unauthorized party, National Amusements reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. National Amusements recently completed this process, and while the breached information varies depending on the individual, it may include your name, Social Security number, account number, and driver’s license number.
