Additionally, the USPTO states that it now has websites specifically targeted for outbound applicants (those who want to use the Madrid Protocol to apply for registrations in other countries), and inbound applicants (those who want to use the Madrid Protocol to apply for a U.S. trademark registration).
As a reminder, per the USPTO’s website, the Madrid Protocol (the common name for the international trademark registration treaty) is a convenient and efficient way for trademark owners worldwide to file one application to register their trademark in multiple countries under one streamlined application and payment process.
