Ohio Department of Higher Education | Title IX Regulations Training (Higher Education)
The Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) and Bricker & Eckler’s higher ed team is pleased to announce a series of Title IX trainings, sponsored by ODHE, for coordinators and investigators. These trainings are restricted to coordinators and investigators at Ohio campuses and will be conducted via online webcast. All training events use discussions of hypothetical situations to encourage engagement with the materials, and include live role-playing scenarios to allow participants to practice their skills.
*Training materials will be provided to attendees to post on their websites in compliance with the new Title IX Regulation Section 106.45(b)(10)(i)(D). While this training includes instruction on the grievance and appeal processes required by the new Title IX regulations, it is not institution-specific and does not include an individualized assessment of policies and procedures.
While the basic level trainings have unlimited enrollment, the advanced trainings are open to the first 50 people to register for each session. Preference for spots in the advanced trainings will be limited to those who are employed by the campus, not contracted with, to provide Title IX services.
Advanced Title IX Investigator Training
This course will include 4-hours of advanced investigator training, plus a 2-hour writing seminar.
Attendees must participate in both days to complete the training.
