Pennsylvania and New Jersey Release 2024 Average Weekly Wage Rates

New Jersey and Pennsylvania have released 2024 workers' compensation temporary total disability benefit rates based on the statewide average weekly wage.

New Jersey:

The New Jersey Department of Labor has released the New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Rate Schedule. For 2024, the maximum temporary total disability rate has been raised to $1,131, and the minimum rate increases to $302.

Pennsylvania:

The Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has announced that for injuries sustained on/or after January 1, 2024, the Statewide Average Weekly Wage or maximum compensation rate is $1,325. This new number represents a 4 percent increase over the maximum compensation rate for 2023. The complete updated wage table for 2024 can be viewed here.
