The AGs argue that some manufacturers have not eliminated AM radios from their electric vehicles, suggesting signal interference is not necessarily a problem.
  • The AGs urge the manufacturers to keep AM radios in their new vehicles, citing the importance of AM radio in allowing consumers to access the national Emergency Alert System, as well as other programming including free sports broadcasts, local news and weather reports, and political commentary.
