  • The EPA’s proposed greenhouse gas standards for light- and medium-duty highway vehicles received dueling comment letters from a group of 21 Democratic AGs and Democratic officials from five cities and a group of 25 Republican AGs.

  • The Democratic AGs’ letter supports the proposed rule as necessary to combat a growing climate crisis, public health challenges, and poor air quality; and further asserts that necessary technologies are already in wide use.
