As an update to our March 19 employment alert on the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”) (here), the Secretary of Labor has now published its poster for employers to post notifying employees of the paid leave provisions under FFCRA.

The FFCRA requires employers to post this notice (or an equivalent with the same information) in a conspicuous place on their premises.  Because many employees are currently teleworking, the Department of Labor (“DOL”) has stated that the employer can satisfy the notice requirement by emailing or mailing the notice to employees or posting the notice on an employee information website.

The notice must be posted by April 1, 2020.  The poster can be downloaded from the DOL website here.
