One cannot read a legal industry publication these days without coming across extensive references to an ongoing revolution in the use of artificial intelligence in legal processes. Yet most lawyers and legal professionals do not have a good understanding of the potential impact of generative AI, ChatGPT, and large language models on their work. This webinar will explain this new technology and its implications for the practice of law. The webinar will also provide practical guidance on how to integrate the new technologies into the workflows of corporate legal departments and law firms for the purpose of improving the quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of legal services, while also satisfying the ethical requirements related to using these technologies.

We will discuss a variety of potential and actual use cases, including:

  • Use of ChatGPT for contract drafting, analysis and management
  • Use of large language models in conducting depositions and summarizing deposition transcripts
  • Use of AI for concept clustering and social network analysis
  • Use of generative AI in litigation research
