Nelson Mullins and KPMG Hungary are excited to present a webinar on the dangers involved in transfers of personal information from the European Union to the U.S. following the recent Schrems court decision. Partner Roy Wyman and Of Counsel Sheria Clarke of Nelson Mullins, and KPMG Hungary Partner Bálint Tóásó, will be presenting for those in the U.S. and EU. The program will include a brief overview of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), dangers to privacy presented by U.S. law, and how the Schrems decision impacts Privacy Shield certification and Standard Contractual Clauses. The presenters also will address other ways to reduce risk in the transfer of data into the U.S. post-Schrems.
