Your Hosts: Nicholas W. Scala and Justin Winter
Regular MSHA inspections (aka E01 inspections) are commonplace for mines – an average of two to four inspections per year for surface and underground operations respectively. Yet, MSHA has in its arsenal a host of other types of inspections and investigations. Operators are often less prepared when MSHA arrives already with a list of specific allegations of unsafe conditions at your site communicated by one of your miners.
Register for this webinar and hear about miner and mine operator rights during hazard complaint investigations, as well as how to handle workforce challenges.
Participants will learn about:
-
Mine Operator Rights During Complaint Investigations;
-
Miner Whistleblower Protections Under the Mine Act; and
-
Complaint Investigation Procedures and Management.
