The following project was approved by an Administrative Law Judge and no exceptions were filed.

AL2017-042, USA Medical Center, Mobile, AL: Proposes to establish a Freestanding Emergency Department (“FED”). The ALJ approved the project and CON 2832-FED was issued on July 16, 2018.

II. Certificate of Need Program -

A. 2018-021, Tuscaloosa Medical Investors, LLC d/b/a Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa, AL: Proposes to convert thirty-six (36) assisted living beds to thirty-six (36) specialty care assisted living beds for location in a multi-level senior living community on a contiguous campus under the same ownership and same management. Opposition: None.
