Delaware and New York 2022-2023 Average Weekly Wage Rates

Delaware and New York have released the 2022-2023 workers' compensation temporary disability benefit rates based on the statewide average weekly wage. These rates take effect July 1, 2022. 

Delaware:

The Delaware Department of Labor has released the new workers’ compensation rates. Delaware Secretary of Labor, Karryl Hubbard, has announced that the average weekly wage in Delaware for 2022 is $1,234.04. Pursuant to this figure, the maximum weekly workers’ compensation rate will increase to $822.70 and the minimum workers’ compensation rate will now increase to $274.24. These figures represent an increase of $24.74 and $8.25, respectively, from the previous maximum and minimums set forth last year. The rate changes become effective July 1, 2022. New York:

The New York Workers’ Compensation Board has released the new workers’ compensation rates. In New York, on July 1, 2022, there will be a change in the max temporary disability rate to $1,125.46, up from $1,062.05.  The rate change becomes effective on July 1, 2022.
