What Caused the Data Breach Affecting Global Atlantic Customers?

According to this source, on November 2, 2023, Infosys McCamish was affected by a cybersecurity incident, in which an unauthorized party was able to access the company’s IT network. According to the Global Atlantic data breach letter, Infosys McCamish provides back-office support, technology, and services for some life insurance plans issued through Accordia Life Insurance Company, which is a subsidiary of Global Atlantic. Thus, Global Atlantic shares personal information with Infosys McCamish for the purpose of administering these life insurance policies.
