Latino representation on Fortune 1000 boards: 2023 Edition marks the fourth study by the KPMG Board Leadership Center and the Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA) examining trends in board service, gender, age, committee service, and tenure of Latino directors, as well as their prevalence by industry and state of corporate headquarters. Latino directors were identified by LCDA and data on public Fortune 1000 company boards and directors were provided by Equilar. Among the key findings:

•The Hispanic/Latino presence in Fortune 1000 boardrooms measured 5.0 percent in 2023, up from 2.7 percent in 2019, the first year of this study.

•The percentage of Fortune 1000 boards with one Latino director increased to 32 percent in 2023, up from 21 percent in 2019...
