The final Title IX regulations have been released. How will the new requirements affect your policies and procedures? Join Bricker & Eckler attorneys for a series of trainings to learn how to remain compliant.

Note that Level 1 registration fees are $40 and Level 2 registration fees are $100. Registrants for all five events receive a discount ($350 total). Contact Laura Schaller at 614.227.8879 or lschaller@bricker.com for training group rates (10 or more).

*Training materials will be provided to attendees to post on their websites in compliance with the new Title IX Regulation Section 106.45(b)(10)(i)(D). While this training includes instruction on the grievance and appeal processes required by the new Title IX regulations, it is not district-specific and does not include an individualized assessment of policies and procedures.

Level 1: General Title IX training for all K-12 staff members

The new Title IX regulations state that a school district has “actual knowledge” of a complaint under Title IX if notice is given to any employee of an elementary or secondary school. This one-hour virtual course explains sexual misconduct and the rights and responsibilities of administrators, teachers, coaches and staff under Title IX. It also describes other laws that address discrimination and harassment, such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Employees gain practical knowledge for how to prevent and respond to inappropriate behavior and promote a safe and respectful learning environment.

*Participants must complete Level 1 before proceeding to a Level 2 course.

Choose from one of four dates:

Monday, July 27, 2020
Tuesday, August 4, 2020
Friday, August 7, 2020
Tuesday, August 11, 2020
