SEC actions re: late Section 13 and 16 filings - issuers included!

A good reminder that the SEC pays attention (at least occasionally) to late Form 4s, 13Gs etc.: https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2023-201?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery

Notably the SEC also took action against a couple of issuers, not just insiders, noting for example:

"Although the Commission encourages the practice of many issuers to assist insiders in complying with Section 16(a) filing requirements, issuers who voluntarily accept certain responsibilities and then act negligently in the performance of those tasks may be liable as a cause of Section 16(a) violations by insiders."
